In accordance with the vision and values of the organization and under the direction of the Professional Practice Leader (or designate) performs medical transcriptions of surgical, pathology, cytology, autopsy and bone marrow reports, distributes documents, and maintains the quality and integrity of health records. Education, Training and Experience:
Recent Pathology experience an asset.
Grade 12, graduation from an approved program in medical transcription plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
• Ability to keyboard at 60 wpm.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work
