Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Part Time (0.40 FTE) Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the Nicola Valley Health Centre.
The Nicola Valley Health Centre offers a variety of services in one location. Types of services delivered depend on patient needs and on whether comparable services are available nearby. Centres that offer one type of specialized outpatient care procedure (such as eye surgery) are classified based on that service.
Community Health Centres do not have acute care beds, but may provide: basic laboratory and radiology; urgent care; outpatient ambulatory care; community services; long term residential care services; and/or on-site doctors’ offices.
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, the Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.
