Position Summary

Are you an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse who has graduated from an Operating Room program?

Do you want to become part of an exceptional rural hospital team with a focus on primary care?

Exciting Opportunity:
As the Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room, you will provide practical nursing services in an operating room environment as a member of an integrated surgical team performing varied surgical interventions. You will consult, confer, and collaborate with other members of the surgical team in facilitating safe and effective surgical interventions through the performance of scrubbing and circulating duties in accordance with established standards and protocols. This includes pre-operative, operative, and post-operative activities such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting client care, and providing support to clients and their families.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hrs/week.
 
Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:
***Must have Graduated from an accredited O.R. program for Licensed Practical Nurses (please upload certificate)***

Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses (please upload certificate)
One (1) year recent related experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in acute care,
Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. (please include your CLPNBC #)
Current CPR certification required
