Position Summary

The Grand Forks Health Centre is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist for a permanent part time (0.3 FTE) opportunity to join our Public Health team! This position will provide dental health promotion to children ages 0 to 18 and may require some travel through the surrounding communities.

In accordance with the vision and values of the organization, this position practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia and provides dental health prevention and promotion services for communities in Interior Health.

This position works two days per week (Thursday and Friday) 08:30 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene.
• Current practicing registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia.
• Minimum one (1) year recent, related dental hygiene experience including experience in a community health organization or the equivalent working with children, youth and their families.
• Current valid BC driver’s license.
