This position supports home health, acute care and residential care. The position is based in Castlegar but travel within the West Kootenay region is required.
As the Clinical Practice Consultant you will champion, guide and lead the delivery of a comprehensive Enterostomal program for clients. You will be responsible for promoting the delivery of quality client care by providing clinical consultation and expertise, education and direction based on a specialized body of knowledge to interdisciplinary team members.

This role works in collaboration with another Enterostomal Clinicians; researches and evaluates current and enterostomal standards and facilitates the development and implementation of program policies and procedures, education programs for staff and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence based ‘best practices’.

Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
Successful completion of an approved Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Education Program, three years recent advanced wound care experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses’ of BC (CRNBC). Current CPR certification.
Valid BC drivers’ license
