Position Summary

The Shuswap Community Care Health Services in Salmon Arm is seeking Casual Adult Day Service Workers/Bus Drivers to join their team. If you hold a valid Class 4 Driver's License and have graduated from an Activity Assistant Program, we want to hear from you, apply today!

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be a team player. The Adult Day Service Worker is responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients by assisting them in carrying out established programs and activity of daily living tasks. This position requires the transport of clients to and from programs and organized outings, so a valid Class 4 Driver's License is required to be the successful candidate!

Shifts are Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 15:00, 08:30 to 15:30

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 12, completion of an Activity Assistant Program, and one year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Food Safe certification.
• Current valid Class IV BC Driver’s License.
Skills and Abilities:
