Position Summary

If you have experience working in a Mental Health & Substance Use environment, we have a casual opportunity for you to join our team as a Rural & Remote Adult Mental Health & Substance Use Nurse in Grand Forks.

Working as part of an integrated mental health and substance use service, you will provide urgent outreach, responsive assessment and treatment, case management, GP shared care, education, and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.

• Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC).

• Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
