Lillooet is located on the banks of the Fraser River on the Cariboo Trail in south central British Columbia. Once a popular stopover for prospectors in search of gold, Lillooet today is a tranquil town with breathtaking mountain and valley views. Forestry, tourism and farming are the main industries in the area. Ginseng is one of Lillooet’s most important crops thanks to the hot dry summers and generally moderate winters. Exciting Opportunity:

As the Support Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the Food, Housekeeping and Laundry Service operations in the designated facilities. This position performs duties such as: supervising designated staff, ordering food and supplies, performing other departmental administrative duties, and/or visiting patients to obtain diet related information in regards to nutritional and therapeutic diet needs.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

Graduation from a recognized two-year program in Food Service Supervision (or Food Service and Nutrition Management program and a registered member of CSNM is preferred).
One year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience in managing housekeeping and laundry or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be an asset.

 Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
